Mr. Baldwin,
Went to the record store last night and stumbled on your new CD. I was so happy because I have been waiting patiently for your next release. It is fantastic, better than I ever dreamed. You are so talented. Sounds like you've been having a difficult time and I'm sorry. You have certainly risen to the occasion. I plan to tell all of my friends to buy it. God Bless You.

Respectfully,

Sandra Thomas

I enjoy hearing and seeing in Kansas city Mo last winter with Will Downing. I knew who you were when you sat down at the piano . I have several of your CD and will always support you. By the way Ibuy your CD without Hearing and feeling them first.

My name is Tawana and I live here in Conyers.  I was at my ex-husband's house and saw your cd and borrowed it from him.  He won't be getting it back and I think he knew that when he gave it to me.

I was the first reviewer on Amazon.com and I was honored to do so.  BobBaldwin.com is absolutely fantastic!  I'm talking about from beginning to end.  I have been a fan since Reflections of Love. I have even paid attention to your work with such artists as Will Downing on Love's The Place to Be and earlier works with Gerald Albright.   I haven't had the opportunity to see you live yet, but I am looking forward to it.  All of the artists involved like Marion Meadows, Chuck Loeb, Dean James and Eric Essix all figure prominently in my music collection.    One question.  How does a city this size not have a smooth jazz station.  I can't imagine what Mrs. Cox was thinking.  I have been heartsick since.  I stayed glued to the web in an effort to stay on top of new and upcoming releases.    I just wanted to say I love your music.  Keep up the good work and I'll spread the word as much as I can!

Peace and Blessings!
Tawana

Hi Bob , Just thought I'd let you know that the new CD is a hit . I love everything on it and the  allstar crew that gave their all on this project !  I would hate to miss your show so I thought I'd give a
little plug for the Bay Area . You know we have Yoshi's in Oakland, Kimball's East in Emeryville (Caution) under new management.   Kimball sold it and it hasn't been the same.   Here in the city S. F. we have the Filmore and  Bimbo's in north beach . These are all 3 to 5 hundred seat rooms. But with a stellar cast that you put together on this project The Oakland Paramont Theater would be the bomb ! What do you think ?

Always , Julius

Bob Baldwin/Cool Breeze CD:

The way I see it, Bob Baldwin's "Cool Breeze" is just what the title depicts to me a cool refreshing breeze.. When relaxing or driving down the road and in deep thought his music surrounds me and puts me in a serene mood feeling good about myself and looking back at all the wonderful things that has come into my life..The amazing part is I can relate to all of the cuts on this CD and after listening I am energized and ready to forge on to more wonderous adventures.. I am looking forward to more from Bob, and to think I would have missed this wonderful CD if it wasn't for Dion Polk's review. It was sotitillating that I had to see for my self and because of this I came out to be the winner.

HOW ARE YOU MR. BALDWIN? I JUST WANTED TO DROP YOU A E-LINE TO SAY YOU
DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON YOUR COOL BREEZE CD. I STARTED PLAYING PIANO LAST
SUMMER AND I WAS INTRODUCED TO YOUR ALBUM 4 MONTHS AGO. IN THAT TIME,
LISTENING TO YOUR STYLE OF PLAYING HAS REALLY EXCELLED MY LEVEL OF PLAYING. SO I  JUST WANTED TO SAY THANKS.

I live in Tampa, FL.... I purchased the "Cool Breeze" CD early this year. I'm really selective about the Jazz I consume. I haven't always been much of a fan of Jazz until approxiamately 10 years ago when I met my husband. Little by little I came to appreciate Jazz and take it for all that it is worth. Oh, by all means I will check out the underground cd..... I've seen you perform with Marion Meadows, you all where awesome....

I would appreciate any updated tour info... Thanks Much.

You keep getting better!!! You really play from a place deep inside which many people can't do. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the show particularly since he hasn't seen you since your days in Nyack at "My Place". I never get tired of seeing you or hearing your music. Keep up the good work!!!

BB,

Thanx for the help. Just called EMC Rhythm and ordered the CD. I have been looking for it since Jan '95, when my tape player destroyed my only copy (this time I'll be more careful). After I get Reflections of Love (and listen to it for a couple of days), my next step will be to get Cool Breeze and then City Sketches. Once again, muchas gracias.

Bob,

Just wanted to say from one musician to another - you are a wonderful and very gifted pianist and overall entertainer. I was in attendance at the Reggie Jeffries premier on Sunday, November 15th. I thoroughly enjoyed your performance. I am a budding jazz/smooth R&B vocalist. Do you produce other artists? It would certainly be an honor and a privilege to be under your tutilage.

Bob,

Your cool approach to music is the best I've heard other than myself. I really dig your stuff something deep. You got the touch man! I'm going to try and get all your stuff. I'd like to submit some of my compositions to you.

Also, I think you should use a lot more live drums in your compositions. I know it tough finding the right drummer that can play "back meter" with that relaxed feel that you dig. Once of these days maybe I'll be able to audition for you.

I'm here in maryland just outside of DC. I'd like to know when you get this way so that I can come out and support your groove. To me you're beyond Jeff Lorber. All he got on you is John Robinson (drummer). Again your groove is there keep it coming.

Dear Bob

Had the opportunity to meet you at a Media Play in Buckhead about a year ago. There you gave me a your phone number and a Marietta address. Needless to say that I misplaced it. My purpose was to get some of my cd's sleeves auto-graph. Could you please let me know if you are still currently in the area.

Thanks, A fan

Hey Bob,

I just wanted to tell you that your newest album is the whip!!! I love that slow jam that you wrote. It's the second to last song on the CD. Listen, can you tell me what king of Moog sound were you using across the top of the tune. That sound is real sharp. I've been looking for a sound like that.

When you get a chance, E-mail me back. I know you are terribly busy. Tell all the guys I said, "What's Up?"

Take care and continued success with the new record.

Peace and Love
