Bob Baldwin
American
Keyboardist, Humanitarian, Songwriter, Arranger, Producer from Mt.
Vernon, NY. At the age of 4, his dad taught him how to play music
and
quickly exposed him to Miles, Herbie, Oscar Peterson, while his sister
caught his ear with the funk; Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, Ohio
Players and Motown. In 1989, he released his debut CD (As a
Producer)
on Malaco Records, and the music caught the attention of Roberta Flack
at the Sony Innovators Award. Soon after that, he signed to Atlantic
Jazz Records, where he did two CD's and featured artists like Will
Downing, Marion Meadows, Noel Pointer, Grover Washington, Jr. and Lenny
White, to name a select few. Production work began to flow for
Baldwin
as he went on to work with Downing, Washington as well as Pieces of A
Dream. Baldwin has slowly but effectively become one of the most
emulated Contemporary Jazz Keyboardists in the business, while sowing
seeds in the Broadcasting field.
|

Bob Baldwin hosted the Morning Drive
Radio Show at KJAZ in Bermuda from it's inception (2005) thru 2006
before he took over the Music Conusultant Gig at WCLK.
